My dreams rested on you
You stomped them to bits
When I think about you
My emotions have fits
So why do I still love you?
Of this I'm not sure
Maybe it's because
Our love once was so pure
Will I recover?
Can you I forget?
Yes, yes I can
And without one regret

This was just a poem I wrote last night when the first line two lines hit me "I gave you my heart You tore it in two" I tend to do that alot...
