for I am bent
you cannot break me
for I am already broken
I lay here a shattered soul
worn from life's errosion
Pieces of me are missing
I am not fully whole
I have the scars of battle
too numerous to count
I wear them like a soldier
out for all to see
I am a 5 star general
a prisoner of an internal war
cut down to the size of a mouse
for I am bent

This is just a bit of writing from a tough time, it has no formal structure, or rhyme, but I like it.
